MechWarrior: Vengeance is an action video game developed by FASA Interactive and published by Microsoft.
The Battletech universe created by FASA around the same name board game, has led to numerous and varied games (strategy, action, etc.), but the oldest is the Mechwarrior series which is already in the fourth delivery. What new can we find in it? The truth is that not much, MechWarrior Vengeance is very similar to the previous delivery of the title (an action game in which we control a steel giant) and one of the few things that have been done regarding changes and improvements is to simplify the combat.
Indeed, the skirmishes in this issue of the game, are much more similar to those in Quake or Unreal than the battles that we saw in the third edition, not only because they run faster, but because one of the most crucial components of Battletech, has gone to a second plane. I refer to the heat that generates weapons function which is not noticeable in this edition.
This means that you can consolidate all the weapons to fire at once with the sole concern of ammunition, much less strategy to the game due to insouciance by heat, one of the crucial factors in the development of any Battletech game. But even when they have committed this mistake according to the opinion of Battletech fans, Mechwarrior Vengeance is still a fun game, ideal for hanging out without complications. In this issue, the player will realize that driving a monster of over 10 meters tall: you can tear down trees, trample vehicles, see how people flee, feel the earth shaking under our feet metal, etc.
